Art and religion have one purpose – the evolution of humankind. I accept the new in art if it is the spiritual revelation which allow me come nearer to understanding God’s nature. All other in art is politics and commerce. I do not blame the artists who make a bad art for the sake of money. But firstly, do not call it art and secondly, do not make it standard.
Moscow lives by the rules of the powers that be. I would say by rules of a wolf pack. If you have money and power you are always right, even if you are wrong. Moscow is a mixture black and white, a good taste and a bad taste, talented people and persons without talent. One can either love Moscow or hate it. But everyone wants to live in Moscow.

This is my third animation film. "Supper with Picasso" is the title of my painting http://www.saatchiart.com/art/Paintin... and the title of the animation film. "Supper with Picasso" is not a story of everyday life. These are my thoughts about Art. I think contemporary art follows a false scent. This is surreal off-the-wall humor. This is my protest against abomination in the contemporary art. Picasso said:" The real artists are Giotto and Rembrandt, I'm just a clown, who understood his time". He was right.

"Out of chars and ashes, out of dust and coals, like golden salamanders, the old years, the green years, might leap; roses sweeten the air, white hair turn Irish-black, wrinkles vanish; all, everything fly back to seed, flee death, rush down to their beginnings, suns rise in western skies and set in glorious easts, moons eat themselves opposite to the custom, all and everything cupping one in another like Chinese boxes, rabbits into hats, all and everything returning to the fresh death, the seed death, the green death, to the time before the beginning. A touch of a hand might do it, the merest touch of a hand." Step on a mouse and you crush the Pyramids.
