..."God is, or He is not. But to which side shall we incline? Reason can decide nothing here. There is an infinite chaos which separated us. A game is being played at the extremity of this infinite distance where heads or tails will turn up. What will you wager? According to reason, you can do neither the one thing nor the other; according to reason, you can defend neither of the propositions". Blaise Pascal

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23

PALM SUNDAY O Christ our God When Thou didst raise Lazarus from the dead before Thy Passion, Thou didst confirm the resurrection of the universe. Wherefore, we like children, carry the banner of triumph and victory, and we cry to Thee, O Conqueror of love, Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord. Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in all four canonical Gospels.

In Praise of God We accomplish frantic gestures for the sake of our beloveds. But we nothing want to make for God. Why?

New Year has come. We are happy and hope it will be a good year for us. I hope too. I hope we will change, we will become better than we were. We will become good people. We will love our neighbors as ourselves. "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead". We must change if we want to have happy future. Happy New Year!

The Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos into the Temple  Presentation of Mary The feast is associated with an event recounted not in the New Testament, but in the apocryphal Infancy Narrative of James. According to that text, Mary's parents, Joachim and Anne, who had been childless, received a heavenly message that they would have a child. In thanksgiving for the gift of their daughter, they brought her, when still a child, to the Temple in Jerusalem to consecrate her to God.

Tolerance how we understand it is evil tolerance. We want justify sin by tolerance but we don't want to think that thus we perpetrate even more sin. God is not tolerant to satan. Why does a human think that he can justify what God can not? Of course, a human thinks there is no God and he is the king of nature and everything is permitted. And this is his fatal flaw. People should remember about Sodom and Gomorrah. And above all, they have to believe. To believe God is to believe what God says, to be true.

Can an artist create when the whole world is against him? I can ask the question differently : must an artist create if the whole world is against him? I am an artist and I work "not thanks but despite". I've achieved great results in my work despite the evil of some people that was directed against me. And now someone wants to get hold of my works for nothing. It vexes me.

Our Lady of Kazan Our Lady of Kazan, also called Theotokos of Kazan, was a holy icon of the highest stature within the Russian Orthodox Church, representing the Virgin Mary as the protector and patroness of the city of Kazan. Her feast days are July 21 and November 4 (which is also the Day of National Unity). According to tradition, the icon was discovered on July 8, 1579, underground in the city of Kazan by a little girl, Matrona, to whom the location of the image was revealed by the Theotokos, the Blessed Virgin Mary, in a Marian apparition. The original icon was kept in the Theotokos Monastery of Kazan, built to commemorate the spot where it had been discovered. Kazan Monastery of the Theotokos where the icon was conserved until 1904. Invocation of the Virgin Mary through the icon was credited by the Russian commanders, Dmitry Pozharsky and Mikhail Kutuzov, with helping the country to repel the Polish invasion of 1612, the Swedish invasion of 1709, and Napoleon's invasio...

Who can be called exceptional? I think: 1. God 2. The Saint 3. The genius By the way, the Saint is the genius and vice versa. I think. Man can not be exceptional, because God created man in his own image. So, Man is only a copy of God, herewith the bad copy. Why are the Saint and the genius the exceptional humans? Because the Saint and the genius are the conductors of God's will. They are above all, they are exceptional. I know, the world renounces from God, but it doesn't mean that there is no God.

Dormition of the Mother of God In Orthodoxy and Catholicism, in the language of the scripture, death is often called a "sleeping" or "falling asleep". According to Orthodox and Eastern Catholic tradition Mary, having spent her life after Pentecost supporting and serving the nascent Church, was living in the house of the Apostle John, in Jerusalem, when the Archangel Gabriel revealed to her that her death would occur three days later. The apostles, scattered throughout the world, are said to have been miraculously transported to be at her side when she died. Mary had been buried in Gethsemane, according to her request. Her body was gone, leaving a sweet fragrance. An apparition is said to have confirmed that Christ had taken her body to heaven after three days to be reunited with her soul. Orthodox theology teaches that the Theotokos has already undergone the bodily resurrection which all will experience at the Second coming, and stands in heaven in that glori...

The Transfiguration of Jesus.  The Transfiguration is one of the miracles of Jesus in the Gospels. This miracle is unique among others that appear in the Canonical gospels, in that the miracle happens to Jesus himself. Thomas Aquinas considered the Transfiguration "the greatest miracle" in that it complemented baptism and showed the perfection of life in Heaven. In Christian teachings, the Transfiguration is a pivotal moment, and the setting on the mountain is presented as the point where human nature meets God: the meeting place for the temporal and the eternal, with Jesus himself as the connecting point, acting as the bridge between heaven and earth.

Evil comes when a human loses faith. What does help me to keep Faith? It's my creativity . Only when I work I am happy because I am with God.   "The branch of Apple" by Olga Romanova
