Christmas in Russia

Christmas in Russia is celebrated on 7 January and marks the birthday of Jesus. On Christmas Eve (6 January), there are several long services, including the Royal Hours and Vespers combined with the Divine Liturgy. The family will then return home for the traditional Christmas Eve "Holy Supper", which consists of 12 dishes, one to honor each of the Twelve Apostles. Devout families will then return to church for the "всеночная" All Night Vigil. Then again, on Christmas Morning, for the "заутренняя" Divine Liturgy of the Nativity.

Merry Christmas!

There is the dictatorship of materialism in the world now. And this dictatorship is the worst dictatorship from. Human without God is only an animal. Human cannot live without Faith because he has not only the body but also the soul. I don't want to live as dust: to eat, to defecate, to have sex. I want to live as the human who has the soul: to think, to create, to cognize God to progress.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". This is not fiction. This is our history. And a human who doesn't understand it is an illiterate human. You cannot be free from God because God is your father, your flesh and blood. You cannot reject from yourself. Life without God is death.
