Celebrating the GREAT "VICTORY DAY" in Russia!

The 9th May is traditionally seen in Russia, as the final surrender of Nazi Germany in what Russians call the Great Patriotic War. Tens of thousands of members of the armed forces are taking part in parades which commemorate Russia's victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.

The biggest parade is being held in the Red Square in Moscow. Nine thousand troops, a hundred army vehicles and dozens of aircraft were on show as Russia showed off its military might..

Victory Day, marking the defeat of Nazi Germany, is Russia's most important secular holiday.

Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in all four canonical Gospels.

See for yourself on Dec. 21st, the first day of northern winter, when the full Moon passes almost dead-center through Earth’s shadow. Is it the source of new life? I would hope for change in our life. December 21 is the day of change. Isn't it?
