Celebrating the GREAT "VICTORY DAY" in Russia! The 9th May is traditionally seen in Russia, as the final surrender of Nazi Germany in what Russians call the Great Patriotic War. Tens of thousands of members of the armed forces are taking part in parades which commemorate Russia's victory over Nazi Germany in 1945. The biggest parade is being held in the Red Square in Moscow. Nine thousand troops, a hundred army vehicles and dozens of aircraft were on show as Russia showed off its military might.. Victory Day, marking the defeat of Nazi Germany, is Russia's most important secular holiday.
