New Year is the expectation of changes. We are waiting ones! We want changes, but what are we doing for it? We are lazy and inert. Our soul is asleep.  We want a lot, but we do not want to live right.  May be must we think over our life and change ourselves? Then and the new year will be supportive to us .

2010 was a heavy year, and probably, not only for me. I would tell that it was the year of unpleasant discoveries. 1. I have understood that I am the exception in the modern world with my concept of morals and moral laws, that no longer work in the XXI century. 2. I have understood that the nature did not withstand overload, which we make every day with it and has started to revenge us. 3. I have understood that the modern art separated from the people. Self-portrait (1953) I have had a dream last night. I saw Valentin Massov .  He was 16 . He was young and impetuous .   "Y ou 'll be famous soon , " I said him.   I do not know how this is possible .   I saw him such as he had been a long ago .   I knew it was true and that he was such as I saw him in my   slumber .  A boy with soul of child. You have lived a hard life but you have not sold your soul.  My dream was reality and I was shocked.

It's snowing and very beautiful out side. Christmas is going to come and I am very glad. I wait this holiday because I love it. Christmas is the birth of new life for the world. End of the night, the beginning of a new day. New sun will come to us and warm our souls. We all need love and understanding!

I am not an ecclesiast, I am not a philosopher, I am even not a writer. I am an artist who has opinion. May be I talk to oneself and my voice is a voice crying in the wilderness. I express my opinion because I can not be silent when I see how the world is going to the dogs.

When I can hear as someone talks nonsense I am laughing. When I can hear as a clergyman talks nonsense I am crying. When the clergyman distorts the truth of the Gospels, he must be driven out of the church. How much fools are in the Church! People look at them and think that church is collection of fools. But it is not so! The Church is the house of universal wisdom and knowledges. The Church is the House of God and I know it. In fact, there are many bad clergymen in the Church. Be the clergyman means to be a mediator between God and man . As a gifted artist so and a gifted clergyman is a rarity. The good clergyman can give a lot of good for your soul and peace of mind. I have had experience of communication with the good clergyman. It was in the Holy Trinity Monastery in 1999. The clergyman's name was Father Naum . From dialogue with him I got very much for my soul and future life.

Nothing! It's very strange, but Mr. Putin has nothing said about Russian culture. I believe Russian culture is dead. Like culture, like society. Amen.

Today , Mr. Putin is going to talk on-line with the Russians . I am about to ask Mr. Putin about the current state of culture in Russia . Why does nobody want to think about the future of Russian culture? There is the genius in Russia, the artist Valentin Massov. His art is the great achievement of the human culture. Why does nobody want to his art  become heritage of all mankind ? Why?

Unfortunately, I was born at the wrong time and in the wrong place.

I'm sure people have the right to know more than they can see and hear in the media. P eople know only what the media makes it possible to know. I would like to create WikiLeaks for art. There are many talented artists in the world. They have no possibility to be world renowned because someone has decided not to give them this opportunity . We see bad art because someone makes money by the bad art. Why? People! You have the right to know about the new perfection in art! if you want to know ... May be consciousness of people are in catalepsy, and we like animals who do not need anything. If you want to live like animals, you will live like animals! Then my blog is not for you.

 

What is means to be an artist? I don't think that someone have asked this question for yourself. An artist is not someone who can draw a few lines. The artist is someone who can give a new idea for the common development of mankind. Anyone can hold a pencil in his hand, but not every one of them is an artist. Talent is a gift from God and not a whim. The artist is talent, work and patience. And self-confidence too. But I can say, based on my experience:"You cannot develop without an understanding of the importance of faith in God." "Talent given by God and must return to God," said El Greco. I am not an ecclesiast, I am an artist and I have my works which are proof my words.

You may think that I can tell only the bad stories. It is not. There is new in art, the new view of the world, if you want . You have to know it because it's your development. I tell you about an artist Valentin Massov. He is the genius of XX century. His art is  chance to seriously reflect on the creative development of mankind. We are not monkeys, we're people and we need to develop as people and not like animals. Valentin Massov's art can set an example for us. This is the example of belief, adherence to art and proper development of talent. The Bible is begun with the words: "The Word was at the beginning..." But I would say:" The Light was at the beginning..." and his paintings are the illustration for these words. Valentin Massov did what nobody has done yet everything that is left by the art on the Earth.

I have changed the title of my blog, because my life is like Cassandra's life. I say what I see and I see the extinction of civilization. I am not a pessimist. I am a realist. One can not ignore the obvious.We are going to catastrophe. Catastrophe does not mean the end of everything. Catastrophe is full degeneration of human consciousness, morality and ethics. We do not need of morality, because each has his own morality. We do not need of faith of God, because each has self-confidence. And this is CATASTROPHE! A worm  who decided to become God is only a worm rather than God. We are the creation rather than creator.

"Ones upon a time have lived people. They were not bad not good. They were people..." This text could be the beginning of stories about the end of human civilization. Are these bad  thoughts? May be... We are not able and we don't want to think about future. We want to have everything and now. Our history teaches us nothing. We need entertainment, we need an eternal holiday. But we must remember that there is nothing more tragic in life than the utter impossibility of changing what you have done.

What is art for me? Art is the meaning of the my life (or art is my life, if you want). Can I be indifferent looking at what is happening in contemporary art? No, I can not! Ancient Rome was killed. The civilization have destroyed the Barbarians. I look at Europe as Ancient Rome. I see how the New Barbarians is destroying old world.  I think just  religion can create civilization and we can see it. Precisely Christianity has created the Renaissance. You don't love Christ. You think you can live without one. Ha! Ha! Nature abhors a vacuum. You can not live outside the religion. Jehovah, Krishna, Buddha, Christ, Allah. Who is your God? Are you atheist? Ha! Atheism is the religion, too! You think you have choice. No! Soon you won't choose.   A state without the religion is as the state without an army. Religion of the New Barbarians will be your religion, and art too.

It's a winter rain. It is strange feeling.  Nature have no bad weather, eh? P.S.  I often think about the development of world art. We have chosen the wrong path of development . The way is the end of art and culture. We are looking for a new expression through science and technical discoveries, but it is a road to nowhere .

Day for day and year has been going to eternity. One day, one year, one life; how many do I have? We live and die while the world continues to live. Is our life fortuitousness or consistent pattern of evolution? What for do we live? Do we live to be animals or to be perfect individual? I live to be perfect person, and you? What can we give to world? Can we give a lot of scrap-heaps or a lot of perfect works of art? Unfortunately, we are giving a just war, destruction of nature and hatred of each other. Cain is killing Abel again and again .

It's cool morning. I have a lot of work today. I need to provide the documents to a passport. I really want to go to Spain in Madrid. I want to see paintings by Velazquez. I love him. He is the best artist! I would like to travel to Europe. I would like to see the World Art. Rome, Paris, Venice, Athenes... how long I was waiting this meet! Better late then never!

What is tolerance? "In general usage, tolerance is a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose beliefs or personal characteristics (race, religion, nationality, etc.), differ from one's own." Yes of course! Should I be tolerant of Satan? It's a rhetorical question. Of course not! But I am called to be indulgent towards evil. How so? I must agree with the evil, but I do not want to do it. I have an opinion, but my opinion nobody cares. Evil wants people to be tolerant to it. We repeat our history, but we must remember that the consequences of our decisions will be more tragic.

Yesterday was a snowstorm. We went to the park. There is a source in the park. We love the spring water. We use it for drink. The snowstorm was knocking down us, when we walked through the park.
